Château Gaillard, Brouilly

$25.50

Brouilly > Beaujolais > FR

Gamay, 2022

Compared to the light and fresh Nouveau style, relatively robust and full-bodied wines are produced in Brouilly, which is one of the ten crus of Beaujolais. The wines are more fruit-driven than many other cru wines, their plum and berry flavors outweighing Gamay's traditional floral character. However, Sébastien Gutty has mastered the art of crushable Beaujolais. Certified organic fruit planted on shale and granite with southeastern exposure. 12 days of semi-carbonic fermentation and allowed to finish in large old barrels. Unfined, unfiltered, minimal S02.
